She began her career with the Sabah State Economic Planning Unit (State EPU) as an Assistant Director from June 1993 and had served various sections such as Agriculture, Macro Economy, Infrastructure & Social Service and Infrastructure & Utilities. Her last position in the State EPU was the Principal Assistant Director (Agriculture) before been transferred to the State Ministry of Finance (State MOF) in May 2018 as the Under Secretary of Budget and Procurement.

Effective May 2019, she was the Deputy Permanent Secretary (Management) of the State MOF. Subsequently, she held the portfolio as the Deputy Permanent Secretary (Development) with effect from January 2020 before been transferred to the State Ministry of Infrastructure Development.

She is currently the Deputy Permanent Secretary of the State Ministry of Infrastructure Development with effect from August 2020.
