Working Experience
Mr. Tore Johnsen ("Mr. Johnsen") started his career in Telenor since 1974 and held various managerial positions including Head of Telenor Broadcast for four years. He is currently the Senior Vice President for Telenor Region Asia responsible for Performance Management in the Asia Region. He has extensive experience in start-up ventures after joining the mobile business area in 1988 and has international experience from various mobile operators both in Europe and South East Asia. He served as the Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") of the Company and Chief Operating Officer of Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd from 2001 to 2004. Prior to joining the Company as the Head of Corporate Strategy in 2000, he served as the Mobile Product Director at Telenor Asia in Singapore. Mr. Tore Johnsen was also CEO of Telenor Pakistan Ltd from 2004 to 2008, CEO of Total Access Communications PLC (dtac) from 2008 to 2011, and CEO of Grameenphone Ltd from 2011 to 2013.
