Mr Ooi Jit Huat is a Chartered Accountant and member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Taxation. He began his career with KPMG in Kuala Lumpur and London from 1980 to 1982. He then joined a corporate sector company listed on the New York Stock Exchange in the United States of America. Thereafter, he had formed Russ Ooi & Associates ("ROA") a  public accounting company in 1985. Mr Ooi has numerous number of  experiences in the financial industry specializing in corporate consultancy, financial management, auditing and investigation and management information systems. Throughout his career he has involved in a broad spectrum of assignments such as corporate exercise, due diligence, reverse takeover, pre listing reviews, restructuring, tax planning including mergers and acquisitions of several companies on the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
