Mr Leong started his career with PriceWaterhouse in 1989 during which he qualified as a Certified Public Accountants

He has over 29 years of extensive working experience in the fields of accounting, financial management and corporate
finance/planning covering property development, plantations, investments, manufacturing, oil and gas industry in both
public listed and private companies.

Prior to joining HCK Group, he was attached to a palm plantation group as its Senior Business Controller based in Jakarta, Indonesia for 2 years. Mr Leong's other notable past working experience include, Chief Operating Officer/Finance Director of Malaysia Pacific Corporation Berhad in 2011, Chief Executive Officer of Petaling Tin
Berhad from 2008 to 2010, Chief Financial Officer/Executive Director of FACB Industries Incorporated Berhad from 2000 to 2008 and holding senior positions in several other companies listed on the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
