Prior to 2004, Mr Yee Wei Meng worked as a legal assistant in various advocates and solicitors' firms where he was responsible for conveyancing, corporate finance and litigation matters. Mr Yee was the Group Managing Director on the Board of GIIB Holdings Berhad which is principally involved in three (3) core businesses: manufacturing of rubber compound, tyre retreading services and property development. He had since been redesignated to a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of GIIB Holdings Berhad.

Mr Yee also sits on the Board of Fontern International Group of companies and Transgrow Group of companies which involved in businesses such as steel & hardware trading, oil palm & rubber plantations, plantations development, property & share investment, business investment acquisition, property development and hotel industry and assumed the role as the Group Managing Director in 2004. He is also in charged of daily business operations, accounts, legal matters, marketing and business expansion.

Mr Yee Wei Meng was a former Director of Superlon Holdings Berhad and Malaysia Pacific Corporation Berhad, both companies listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
