Mr Chong Chun Chieh holds a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) Degree from the Northern University of Malaysia in 1993. He obtained his Masters in Business Administration from Northern University of Malaysia in 2000. He is a Chartered Accountant registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

Mr. Chong Chun Chieh was the Group Chief Financial Officer of Boon Koon Group Berhad ("BKG"). Prior to joining BKG in October 2008, he was attached to Chin Well Holdings Berhad ("CWHB") as the Group Financial Controller in 1997. He assisted to list Chin Well on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia  Berhad. Subsequently, he joined Texchem Resources Berhad ("TRB") in 2002 and was seconded to Sea Master (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in 2003 upon acquisition of Sea Master Group. He was a Member of Corporate Affairs Committee of Texchem Resources Berhad.
During his employment with BKG, he managed to lead a team to restructure the financial position of the Group. Under his leadership, he strategically lead BKG to joint venture with Hitachi Credit Corporation ("HCC") of Japan and successfully bring HCC to the leasing platform officially in Malaysia. He was a director in the Board of BKG until he pursue his own business in 2014.
