Mr. Tan Seng Kiat started his career in 1982 as a mechanical engineer in Hume Industries and subsequently joined Malayan Brewery Ltd in 1984 as a project engineer.

In 1987, he joined Asia Pacific Brewery in Singapore as the Installation Engineer where he was involved in the construction of a new brewery. He joined Guinness Anchor Bhd (now Heineken Malaysia) as a Project Engineer in 1989 where he remained until 2018. During this period, he was promoted to Chief Engineer in 1997, subsequently to the Operation Manager  Packaging & Engineering in 2010. He last position being the Head of Engineering from 2015 to 2018.

He left Heineken Malaysia in 2018 to join ICARTab SE Asia as the CEO, which is in the bio medical industry.
