Mr. Yong held the post of Managing Director from 1972 to 1979 and resigned from the Company as he left for Australia. Mr. Yong subsequently rejoined the Board in 1997. He was the Managing Director from 1 October 1998 until his retirement from that position on 1 February 2005. Upon his retirement he remained on the Board as an Executive Director.
