He was appointed the Director of Operations in 1974 for the Hotel Division, Genting Berhad and also Joint Managing Director for Genting Highland Tour & Promotion Sdn Bhd. In 1983 he was appointed Director and Chief Executive Officer of Resorts World Bhd. He held this position until 1988. He was also a Chief Executive Officer for the period 2003 to 2005 with Ho Wah Genting Poipet Sdn Bhd (Cambodia). In total he has more than 34 years of experience in the hospitality, property management and retail.
