Dato' Faisal started his career as a marketing executive with RMT Metals Sdn Bhd, a global company in the metal trading industry from 1993 until 2010. Between 1995 and 2010 he was the team principal and driver of the Fugazi Racing Team, an award wining team managing over RM5 million in sponsorships and assets of race cars valued at RM4 million. 

Dato' Faisal is currently the managing director of Fugazi Sdn Bhd a MOF licensed company managing government related contracts since 1997. He is also the managing director of Urban Glory Travel Sdn Bhd registered under Ministry of Tourism which provides inbound and outbound travel packages. He is also a director of Ibu Kota Developments Sdn Bhd.
