After graduating in 1983, Raja Chik joined IBM as System Engineer (Main Frame) for 5 months, thenmove to American International Group (AIG) based in KL, Singapore and Hong Kong. While in AIG, Raja Chik worked in parallel as IBM Mainframe System Programmer (DOS/VM/MVS), Database Administrator, Network Analyst (VTAM, NCCF-NPDA, CISCO Product-including ChipCom), Application Programmer (Focus/CICS), Operation Support (DOS-VM-MVS VSE/XA/ESA), Help Desk Support, Production Controller, CICS and Cobol Application Programmer and etc.

In 1987-1990, Raja Chik moved to Anderson Consulting as SAP Consultant then to Telekom Malaysia as EDP Auditor-System Analyst/Assistant Manager. Involved in CASS Billing systemsimplementations, SAP Material Management implementation, He was involved in developing share allocation program and auditing and updating STM employees database in Tegas systems(Human Resource & Payroll). He had setup and run the program with MIDF for Telekom Malaysia’s first public share listing in 1990.

1990-1994, Raja Chik moved back to ICT Systems operation and Software Implementation again but this time with Permodalan Nasional Berhad Group (PNB) as SAP R2/R3 Senior System Analyst/Technical & Functional Consultant) and Operations Managers. In PNB, he had done multiple Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation which involved configuration of SAP parameters & tables for Basis (BC), Financial (FI), Costing(RK) and Logistic(RM) systems, developing MVS Job Control List Statements (JCL), PARMLIB & RACF control, Installing and system parameterization of SAP in MVS ESA & CICS region/systems for development, Involved in Systems Upgrades (PUT), training/testing/staging & production environment using IBM tools and IEB* & IE* systems tools, setting batch environment for operation job run, Data Conversion, Integration and SAP Implementation projects for PNB Group-PNBFAST & HR Peoplesoft/Oracle, Esso-Socrates, Penang Port Authority(DOS/ESA), Caltex (DOS/VS), Government Agencies (Pos Malaysia Berhad, Immigration department, Pendaftaran department, ROC/ROB department, Public Service Network).These include designing new financial/operational procedure and policies for the companies. Involved in MOF Class B construction and food business in 1990.

In end 1993-1997, Raja Chik started in Price Waterhouse as a SAP pioneer-Senior Consultant and Project Manager with the Management Consulting Practice. During his four years with Price Waterhouse, he had completed several major assignments in the area of SAP Implementation,software development, support, business process reengineering, system implementation andoperational effectiveness reviews. These projects include the identification of issues, GAP, development of practical and effective solutions and the implementation of those solutions with focus on growth, profitability and success in the marketplace.

He was the Management Consultant/director and focus leader of the PW SAP Implementation team, Change Integration and Business Process Transformation (Reengineering) methodologies. I was also Price Waterhouse’s accredited trainer in the one of above-mentioned methodologies.

While in PW, his projects were SAP Implementation, Training, Change Management and Business Advisory for TenagaNasional (1994), Malayan Banking (1994), Binariang (Maxis-1995), Amocco Oil & Gas (95/96), Bank Bumiputera (1996/7), EPF (1995), Titan Group & US West (1996-97), MIDF(1997) and Shell Asean Core (1996/97).

During year 1996-2004, Raja Chik had setup his own ICT & Consulting Companies under RCM Global, Executive Director - Vantage Point Consulting (SAP Malaysian implementation partner & PNB as shareholder) and SOMAC IT (SAP Middle East partner) had subsidiaries all over the world from Malaysia, UK, USA and Middle East. While in Europe in 1996-2003, Raja Chik is a freelance SAP implementer and ICT Project Director and Lead Project Implementation Manager (FI/CO/PS/MM/SD/PM/PP/BC) for couple of multinational companies including Mercedes Benz Europe Region 2 covering UK, Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, South Africa, Holland and etc), VW Europe, Saudi Aramco-Dahran SA, Saudi Electrical Consolidated Company (SCECO) Xenel Group and Sabic Group in Middle East till now. With SOMAC Construction Saudi Arabia Raja Chik was involved in construction and Security systems businesses

Raja Chik had expanded out further as the Middle East Managing Partner of Software Distributor, ICT Consultancy, Management Consultancy, and Business Advisory Company. Partnering with International partners like JetForm (Canada),Adobe, Haht Commerce (Raleigh, US), TopCall Ag (Austria), Neon System(US), IBM & Microsoft Middle East and Netsol International (NTWK) until NASDAQ 2001-2002 issue. I was also an executive director/shareholder of PermodalanNasionalBerhad Group subsidiary, Vantage Point Consulting Sdn Bhd (1997-1999), Partner to Telekom & Sapura Group of Companies.

In 2002, Raja Chik was APEX Communications Group partner (MSC & ISO 9000 Company) as an ICTConsultant and Assist Network SdnBhd to do Utilities and Education projects. And Raja Chik was their Change Management, Advisor/Chief Technical Officer (CTO).

From end 2002 till 2005, Raja Chik was the Corporate Planning and Business Development Director as well as ICT & Virtual Security Consultant with Minadira Group of Companies (A Construction, Development, and Waste Management Company). From end 2003 till now, Raja Chik is the Chief Operating Officer of ORBSEA Group of Companies (A satellite and ICT Company).

From end 2003 till 2005, Raja Chik was the Trader and Chief Operating Officer for Jalinan Tiara SdnBhd in a Oil & GAS Trading business and Bio Mass Waste Management systems respectively.

In May-July 2005, as a project manager for ITS and Malaysia EnCoral Digital, he successfully implemented the Core Islamic Banking Systems with ITS Kuwait using Mosaics Teller module and Phoenix system administration and security systems package for Kuwait Finance House Malaysia Berhad at MNI Twin Towers (KFHMB) within 2 months.

In October 2005 till now, he is the COO of VR4U Technologies (M) SdnBhd then (MSC Status company) focus on 3D Animation, ICT, Formula 1 GP & Motorsports grass-root training, ICT implementation support and Visual Effect and Simulation development training. Raja Chik was also the Project Manager (contract) for ISS Consulting Bhd doing SAP 4.6n full module implementation and support for Indonesia and Singapore projects which include Titan Group Petrochemical (Indonesia and Malaysia), Haldin Group (Cibitung and Cikarang) and PermataHijau Group (PHG) in 2007-2008.
