Ms. Tan Jo-Ann began her career in RSM Robert Teo, Kuan & Co. ("RSM") in 2005 as an audit trainee. At RSM, she performed audit works. She left RSM in 2006 and joined BASF Asia-Pacific Service Centre Sdn Bhd ("BASF") as analyst in accounts receivable, where she was responsible for performing a variety of accounting duties such as reconciliation of daily accounts receivable transactions and preparing monthly statements of accounts and reports for BASFs overseas companies. She left BASF in 2007 and joined Datacom South East Asia (M) Sdn Bhd ("Datacom") as a senior account assistant. At Datacom, she was responsible for financial, audit and tax matters at company and group level. She was later promoted to the position of accountant, where she assisted the finance manager. In 2013, she was transferred to Datacom Systems (Asia) Sdn Bhd and assumed the position of finance manager, where she handled accounts, audit, tax, human resource and secretarial related matters of the company. 

She left Datacom and joined CE Technology Berhad in 2018 as the Financial Controller.
