Mr Koong Wai Seng graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) degree from Universiti Malaya in year 1993 and is an accountant by profession. He is a member of the Malaysia Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) and Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Mr Koong Wai Seng has more than 20 years of financial and general management experience in a variety of industries including audit, financial advisory, retail, leisure, hospitality, healthcare, property development and property investment. 

He began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. before joining a public listed property group for 13 years where he was appointed as Chief Financial Officer and later as the Group Finance Director. Subsequently, he joined another listed property group as Executive Director before assuming his current position as Executive Director in Sunsuria Berhad.
