Mr Chin Suan Yong is a Chartered Accountant member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), a Certified Public Accountant member of The Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) and a Chartered Member of The Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia (IIAM).

Mr Chin Suan Yong has more than 25 years of experience in external audit, internal audit, accounting and finance. He started his career as an external auditor in Arthur Andersen, Kuala Lumpur in 1990. He has previously held several finance positions, and has extensive experience in internal audit and risk management in various industries such as transportation and logistics, telecommunications, plantation, property development, construction, engineering, retail, hospitality and manufacturing. He was the Head of Group Internal Audit in IOI Corporation Berhad prior to his appointment as Group Financial Controller of The MUI Group.
