Working Experience
He started his career in the container port of the Port of Singapore Authority, Singapore in 1973. He then joined Malayan Sugar Manufacturing Company Bhd as an Instrument Engineering in 1974, where he was primarily responsible for the implementation of automatic/computer control and mechanisation of sugar refinery operations. He rose through the ranks of Malayan Sugar Manufacturing Company Bhd and was appointed as the Factory Manager in 1988 before he was seconded to another subsidiary of PBB Group, ChemQuest Sdn Bhd, holding the post of the Managing Director. Since 1999 until 31 December 2013, he is the Managing Director of Malayan Sugar Manufacturing Company Bhd. He has over 30 years of experience in the sugar industry.
