Working Experience
Mr Tan is a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. He started his career with an international audit firm, Cooper & Lybrand in Johor Bahru from 1983 to 1988 and then joined an international audit firm, Touche Ross & Tohmatsu in Singapore for a year. Thereafter, he joined the subsidiary of a public listed company as an Accountant in 1990 for one and a half year. Prior to joining Yinson in 1994, he obtained his Master in Business Administration in 1993 from the University of the United States of America.
