Mr Chin Suan Yong commenced his career in Arthur Andersen Kuala Lumpur.  He has more than 27 years of working experience in the field of auditing as well as in leading and managing the full spectrum of finance function of companies involved in various industries including plantation, manufacturing, property development and investment, leisure, hospitality and investment holding.

He was Head of Group Internal Audit in IOI Corporation Berhad from 2011 to 2015.  Subsequently he joined Malayan United Industries Berhad as Group Financial Controller from 2015 to 2017.  Thereafter he was appointed as Chief Financial Officer of Country Heights Holdings Berhad and Chief Financial Officer of KIP Real Estate Investment Trust.  Prior to his appointment with PLS Plantations Berhad, he was the Financial Controller with M K Land Holdings Berhad since 2019.
