Genting Malaysia Berhad (“Company”) today acquired 500,000 shares for a total consideration of RM1,734,504.38 at an average price of RM3.469 each, inclusive of transaction costs. The share buy-back was made pursuant to the approval given by the Company’s shareholders on 13 June 2012.

The resulting cumulative net outstanding treasury shares of 265,607,400 represent approximately 4.47% of the Company’s issued and paid-up share capital of 5,938,044,648 ordinary shares as at 4 December 2012.
