Genting Malaysia Berhad (“Company”) today acquired 10,000 shares at a total consideration of RM35,960.91 at an average price of RM3.60 each, inclusive of transaction costs. This share buy-back is made pursuant to the mandate approved by the Company’s shareholders on 8 June 2011.
Based on the Company’s issued and paid-up share capital of 5,932,584,648 ordinary shares as at 5 June 2012, the cumulative net outstanding treasury shares to-date of 265,107,400 represent approximately 4.47% of the issued and paid-up share capital.
