Hanton Capital Limited (“HCL”) has acquired from Tan Sri Dato’ Surin Upatkoon, 89.32% equity interest in Casi Management Sdn Bhd (“CMSB”), a substantial shareholder of Magnum holding 404,659,551 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each in Magnum (“the said Magnum shares”). HCL is deemed to have indirect interest in the said Magnum shares by virtue of Section 6A (4) of the Companies Act, 1965 (‘the Act”) held through CMSB. Kularb Kaew Company Limited (“KKCL”) and Cedar Holdings Limited (“CHL”) are deemed to have indirect interests in the said Magnum shares by virtue of the Act held through HCL. Cypress Holdings Limited (“Cypress”) is deemed to have indirect interest in the said Magnum shares by virtue of the Act held through KKCL and CHL. Tan Sri Dato' Surin Upatkoon has ceased to have indirect interest in the said Magnum shares via CMSB but instead he is now deemed to have indirect interest in the said Magnum shares by virtue of the Act held through Cypress.
