Reason
These shares were acquired by West Country Sdn Bhd (“WCSB”) in the open market. Magnum Corporation Berhad (“MCB”) is deemed to have an indirect interest in these shares by virtue of Section 6A(4) of the Companies Act, 1965 held through WCSB, a subsidiary of Quantumco Enterprise Sdn Bhd, which in turn is a subsidiary of MCB. Dato’ Surin Upatkoon is deemed to have an indirect interest in these shares in Multi-Purpose Holdings Berhad (“MPHB”) by virtue of Section 6A(4) of the Companies Act held through his 48.9% shareholding in Dynamic Icon Sdn Bhd (“DISB”). DISB is the holding company of Quantum Aspects Sdn Bhd, which in turn is a substantial shareholder with indirect interest in MCB held through MPHB.
