Reason
These 33,688,900 Multi-Purpose Holdings Berhad ("MPHB") shares were disposed of by Magnum Corporation Berhad ("MCB") via off-market transactions. These 60,690,361 MPHB shares were disposed of by West Country Sdn Bhd ("WCSB"), a subsidiary of MCB via off-market transactions. Arising from the above disposals, MCB ceased to be a substantial shareholder of MPHB. Casi Management Sdn Bhd ("CMSB") has an indirect interest in the said shares pursuant to the Section 6A(4) of the Companies Act, 1965 ("the Act") held through MCB and its subsidiaries. Mr Lim Tiong Chin is deemed to have an indirect interest in MPHB by virtue of the Act held through CMSB.
