Reason
(i) These 500,000 shares were acquired by MWE Holdings Berhad ("MWE") on 12/9/2007 and 17/9/2007 in the open market. Casi Management Sdn Bhd ("CMSB") is deemed to have an indirect interest in these shares in Multi-Purpose Holdings Berhad ("MPHB") by virtue of Section 6A(4) of the Companies Act, 1965 held through MWE. (ii) These 43,000,000 shares were acquired by CMSB on 3/10/2007 via married deal. (iii) These 7,500,000 shares were acquired by CMSB on 9/10/2007 via direct business deal. Lim Tiong Chin is deemed to have an indirect interest in the above shares in MPHB by virtue of Section 6A(4) of the Companies Act, 1965 held through his 15% shareholding interest in CMSB.
