Reason	On 14 January 2002 The Tokai Bank, Limited ("Tokai") ceased to be a substantial shareholder of AMMB Holdings Berhad ("AHB") pursuant to a merger between The Sanwa Bank, Limited ("Sanwa") and Tokai in Japan effective 15 January 2002. As a result of the merger, all the assets and liabilities of Tokai (including the 115,500,000 ordinary shares in AHB) have been succeeded to by Sanwa, the surviving entity.
