Reason	As at 31 January 2017, Aberdeen and its subsidiaries hold 71,181,600 shares of the Company. Pursuant to Section 6A(4)(c) of the Companies Act, 1965, MUFG was deemed interested in the shares of the Company as MUFG's wholly owned subsidiary, Mitsubishi UFJ Trust & Banking Corp, holds more than 15% in Aberdeen. By virtue of the coming into force of the Companies Act 2016 on 31 January 2017, pursuant to Section 8(4)(c) of the Companies Act 2016, MUFG is no longer deemed interested in the shares of the Company in which Aberdeen has an interest as Mitsubishi UFJ Trust & Banking Corp does not hold 20% or more in Aberdeen. As a result, MUFG ceases to be deemed a substantial shareholder of the Company.
