Reason	Fullerton Management Pte Ltd (“FMPL”) has a more than 15% shareholding interest in Standard Chartered PLC (“SCPLC”) through its indirect wholly owned subsidiary. On 25 March 2013, SCPEL, an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of SCPLC, completed the sale of 98,014,500 ordinary shares (“Shares”) in the share capital of Shangri-La Hotels (Malaysia) Berhad to Kuok Brothers Sdn Berhad (“Kuok Brothers”) via a direct business transaction, pursuant to a share purchase agreement dated 20 March 2013 entered into between SCPEL and Kuok Brothers. FMPL therefore ceased to have a deemed interest in the Shares in which SCPLC ceased to have an interest.
