GKGI's wholly owned subsidiary, Alpha, holds 600,000 Stock Units representing approximately 0.25% of the share capital of Eastern & Oriental Berhad ("E&O"). Goh thus has a deemed interest in 0.25% of the share capital of E&O. GKGI holds shares representing more than 15% of the voting rights in G. K. Goh Holdings Limited ("GKGH"). GKGH's wholly owned subsidiary, Strategic, holds 4,016,900 Stock Units representing 1.7% of the share capital of E&O. Goh thus has a deemed interest in 1.7% of the share capital of E&O. GKGH's 67% owned subsidiary, AEL, had on 2 June 2006 purchased 40,000,000 Stock Units in the capital of E&O, representing 16.5% of E&O's share capital. Goh thus has a deemed interest in 16.5% of the share capital of E&O. Goh thus has a total deemed interest in E&O of 44,616,900 Stock Units, or approximately 18.5% of the ordinary issued share capital of E&O.
