1. Standard Chartered PLC (“SCPLC”) is deemed interested in Shangri-La Hotels (Malaysia) Berhad (“SHMB”) through its deemed interest in Standard Chartered Private Equity Limited (“SCPEL”).
2. Dover Investments Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fullerton Management Pte Ltd (“FMPL”), holds more than 15% of the ordinary shares in SCPLC.
Accordingly, by virtue of Section 6A(4) of the Companies Act 1965, FMPL is deemed interested in the shares held by SCPEL.
