HSBC Malaysia is wholly owned by HSBC International Trustee Limited ("HKIT"). HKIT is therefore deemed interested in the shares of Goldis Berhad by HSBC Malaysia. A Form 29A dated 8 September 2009 had previously been submitted on HSBC Holdings plc as the substantial shareholder of the shares by virtue of being the ultimate holding company of HKIT. 2), 3) and 4) HKIT holds the shares of Goldis Berhad as Trustee of trusts. A Form 29A dated 8 September 2009 had previously been submitted on HSBC Holdings plc as the substantial shareholder of the shares by virtue of being the ultimate holding company of HKIT. HKIT is submitting this disclosure form to give notice of interest as a substantial shareholder of Goldis Berhad.
