HSBC International Trustee Limited ("HKIT") holds the shares of Goldis Berhad as Trustee of trusts.
Form 29A dated 8 September 2009 had previously been submitted on HSBC Holdings plc as the substantial shareholder of the shares by virtue of being the ultimate holding company of HKIT.
HKIT is wholly owned by HSBC Private Banking Holdings (Suisse) SA ("HSBC Suisse"). HSBC Suisse is therefore deemed interested in the shares of Goldis Berhad.
However, HSBC Suisse only became the holding company of HKIT on 31 July 2011. Hence, HSBC Suisse is submitting this disclosure form as at 31 July 2011 to give notice of interest as a substantial shareholder of Goldis Berhad.
