Reason	HSBC International Trustee Limited ("HKIT") holds the shares of Goldis Berhad as Trustee of trusts. Form 29A dated 8 September 2009 had previously been submitted on HSBC Holdings plc as the substantial shareholder of the shares by virtue of being the ultimate holding company of HKIT. HKIT is wholly owned by HSBC Private Banking Holdings (Suisse) SA ("HSBC Suisse"). HSBC Suisse, which is, in turn, wholly owned by HSBC Finance (Netherlands) ("HSBC Netherlands"). HSBC Netherlands is therefore deemed interested in the shares of Goldis Berhad. However, HSBC Netherlands only become the holding company of HSBC Suisse on 1 November 2012. Hence, HSBC Netherlands is submitting this disclosure form as at 1 November 2012 to give notice of interest as a substantial shareholder of Goldis Berhad.
