Pursuant to the restructuring of Multi-Purpose Holdings Berhad (MPHB), Malaysian Plantations Berhad (MPB) and Kamunting Corporation Berhad (KCB), Quantum Aspects Sdn Bhd (QASB) has acquired 31% of MPHB. QASB is deemed to have indirect interest in Hing Yiap Knitting Industries Berhad (Hing Yiap) by virtue of Section 6A (4) of the Companies Act, 1965 held through MPHB.
Pursuant to the restructuring of MPHB, MPB and KCB, QASB has become a substantial shareholder of MPHB holding 31% of MPHB. QASB is deemed to have an indirect interest in Hing Yiap Knitting Industries Berhad, by virtue of Section 6A(4) of the Companies Act, 1965 held through MPHB. Dato' Tan Toh Hua is deemed to have substantial interest in Hing Yiap by virtue of Section 6A(4) of the Companies Act, 1965, held through his 15% shareholding in QASB.
