Outcome

United Plantations Berhad (UP) wishes to announce that all 14 ordinary resolutions and a special resolution as set out in the Notice of UP's 97th Annual General Meeting (AGM) dated 26th February 2018 were approved by shareholders at UP's 97th AGM held today, Tuesday, 24th April 2018. The voting on the 15 resolutions were carried out by way of a poll and the results of the poll were validated by Malaysian Issuing House Sdn. Bhd. as the Independent Scrutineer appointed by UP.

The details of the results of the poll are as set out in the attachment.
