prelexus does not have good biz model. Its facemask is a marketing gimmick. Its garment is not making profit for few qtrs already. I have painfully cut big lost in Aug , -34%. Watch out and good luck to you.

I do have a bit concern that the correct price spike up is caused by market hype on vaccine-dry ice which is very murky and uncertain. I will hold up firmly not to be swayed to sell KGB for short term quick profit.

I invested into KGB for the rapid expansion of semicon industry where KGB main revenue relies on. Another attraction of KGB is CO2 liquid in Kerteh. Dry ice is just a very new blue sky bonus to the investment thesis of KGB.

eps is 1.4 if excluding the forex loss. The annualized eps is 1.4x4=5.6cts. To get my TP 2.70, it is traded at pe 48. Too expensive lor.

Lot of people just look at the summary table of the qtr result. It shows consecutive 6 qtrs of negative growth. It is very scary, at no time we should hold this kind of counter.
But if we adjust back the forex loss this qtr, it is turning around with 10% growth in net profit.

Disappointing result. If adjusting back the unrealized forex loss 2.56mill, net profit is 7.88mil which is 10% growth vs. corresponding qtr last year. With the adjustment, eps=1.4 cts/qtr only. How to justify for my TP RM2.70. Sigh.....

Lim Wee Chai said the company’s estimated div yield will be more than 6% in current FY8/21.
RM7 x 6%=div 42cts. Payout @ 50%, eps =42x2=84cts in FY21. PE 10, TP RM8.40; PE 20, TP RM16.80.

your assumption for expenditure without kids at the later age is too high. The expenditure at old age will drop significantly to 60-80K depending on living style. You can verify these numbers with old couples surrounding you. If you go into you number frugally, the old couple instead can live a simple life just with the return from the assets/investment without withdrawing capital. In the worst case scenario their finance can last till their last day with combination of return from investment combining with partial capital drawdown.

When biz is to close, a lot of time, its NTA will become liability as the owner needs to pay contractor to dismantle and scrap the assets such as machines, furniture etc before potential buyers have interest to buy the land and building. Thus do not believe in NTA when performing share valuation except few biz such as banking and insurance company.
