For Malaysia,I have L&G LA,Zelan,Sona,PJDEV WC,Fututech,Ireka,BIMB WA which likely to have 50-100% gain within half-1 year.
So we must have faith in AWC.if the result is good,I do no see even why RM 0.90-RM 1.00 is not possible.But we must discount the returns as depreciation of M'sia Ringgit,haha,agree bo. |

The reason why I said so very easy,ELEMENT is just handled over just few months back and thus most their profits had been recog in the P&L June 2014.The current reporting quarter will only depends on Foresta 1 which in the progress thus we called it 空窗期 and thus might limited the upside momentum.However,next 2 q is expect to be very good as Foresta 1 is higher margin. |

The value of PJDEV is should not be undermined taken into account of unbill sales and thus will create a higher NTA.Do you think we are that Childish to let him play the game.In US and HK,I had faced many those cases and I have seen even some of them being taken into court debate (i am hardly seen those case in Malaysia) thus we as a minority shareholders should unite.
For me less than RM 2.2 for mother and RM 1.2 (for son) within this 3 months,I will reject the offer (taking into account of those bought earlier at above RM 1) even though my cost is just approx 0.62.The price will be higher when next quarter result is reported.
For those who do not noticed,Mr Koon Yew Yin is now part of us in defending the castle.
For short term,current strong recovery in overall market as well as fast move of PJDEV WC is not healthy (maybe big guys buy up) but we should not hurry to enter.I will only buy when its back to 65-67.5 equilibrium price based on Vol avg,cheers

| Stock: [SONA]: SONA PETROLEUM BHD Nov 6, 2014 12:02 PM | Report Abuse From my eye,I see Sona is a risk free investment for who bought below 0.45.why be so silly doing "expert" in predicting.The core of value investing is buying something worth RM 1.00 with RM 0.5 and I think all of us will know the basic rule.Yes,Sona might not be successful in bidding the project but we only faced so call "opportunity cost" but remember once approve,their performance I believe is comparable or even better than Hibiscus as we are buying the field which are already in full fledged production and they are producing a PBT of more than USD 200m (as disclosed by the Salamander document).
Yes,current oil price is declining and the long term (5-10 years)outlook of oil industry is challenging (I more prefer shale oil etc) but we are not holding it for long term,maximum for me is 2 years from now (after merger and wait for the reflection of q result).Even with the oil price down towards 65-70,Sona will still be a 75-100% within a year (if approve).So please do your homework before comment.
I am trimming down my core position in foreign markt (i.e. Gopro,Krungthai bank) to buy in Sona.But I have no worry on it as head we win,tails we wont loss much. |

Because of the market uncertainty (even though equities market rebound),There is a possibility that L&G will back lower before next move.Mother below 0.55 and LA below .42 |

the question simply mean how can we compute the TERP for in the money warrant at its first listing date.
I took BIMB WA as a reference,its initial reference price was 0.005 (bursa ruling) since it is out of the money (share price 4.4+ vs exercise price of 4.72),the first day closing was 0.305 (gap up greater of 30 cents or 400% from initial reference price due to bursa rule as well).This is the case of BIMB WA.
I mean if in the case of share price is more than Exercise price at it first day of listing,how can we compute the first day reference price?Note is reference price,not the closing.
