Covid-19 make economy slown down fundamental company will metamorphism and company with high debt will the time to collapse.Expect local and foreign funds money would not flow in big cap and mid cap stock because everybody scare buy high losses money . In this few month expect Funds manager money would flow out in bigcap and midcap stocks and will short selling midcap stocks for make money so now no prospects cannot buy and hold.
market stock RM5.00 drop to RM 2.00 ,followed RM2.00 drop RM1.00,followed RM1.00 drop to 50 cent,followed 50 cent drop to 20cent ,followed 20 cent drop to 10cent ,followed 10cent drop to bottom.
High debt company cannot hold ,high prices stock cannot hold , market never sleep money never sleep just buy bottom low prices with cash rich company . This is a opportunity markets smarts money no longer will flows in cheaper stocks sharks will goreng lows price stock at bottom..

1 co founder sold half of his shares , hold 15 .2 % , co founder chhoh sold all his shares on 24/5/2018, 3 other Directors also sold their shares on 2019 .

Looks like BOD sold shares, what is this imply n why 3Q continually Loss..

Budget 2020 is referenced to oil price USD62 per barrel..today 13/3/20 is USD33.5 per barrel.. is already being hit badly ..can the Budget be maintain??

NFCP will be change also .. but seems Opcom is not benefit from NFCP as FY20 3Q is with reduced revenue and consecutively 3Q at Loss ....

NFCP evolvement and Inplementation :

1.) Jan2018

a) KUALA LUMPUR: Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) has received several proposals from third-parties which are keen to help deliver the government’s Nationwide Fiberisation Plan (NFP).
The NFP, which is undertaken jointly by TNB and Telekom Malaysia Bhd, is aimed at expanding high speed internet access nationwide and bring down cost of the service.

b) On Tuesday, TNB and TM inked a memorandum of understanding to jointly develop an implementation plan to deliver the NFP.

2.) July 2018

a) KOTA KINABALU: Malaysia may replace the previous government’s Nationwide Fiberization Plan (NFP) with the National Connectivity Plan (NCP) so more people will have Internet access throughout the nation, revealed Communications and Multimedia minister Gobind Singh Deo.
Gobind said the new government plan will combine fibre optic and wireless connectivity to solve the fibre optic dependent NFP (2017-2019) hiccup.
He added the existing plan involved pulled fibre optic issues as it cannot easily be planted in the challenging topographical makeup of rural Malaysia, which hinders or limits the continuous internet connectivity area penetration goal.
“To me, fibre is an important thing. We must stress fully on laying of fibre but at the same time, we must also understand that fibre might not reach (rural areas) because of what is called as the ‘last mile’,” said Gobind when making his first official visit to the Sabah Communications and Multimedia (KKM) Building in Kepayan here yesterday.

b) “In my ministry, we have SKMM (Malaysian Communications And Multimedia Commission) and under SKMM, we have an Act that mentions the need for all “TELCOS” to make payment or contribution to a fund annually. The fund is known as USP (Universal Service Provider) Fund. The fund is intended to help with infrastructure construction, especially, in the rural areas so there is connectivity in those areas.

c) KUALA LUMPUR (July 23): Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) and Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) have terminated the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the two groups to jointly develop an implementation plan to deliver on the government's Nationwide Fiberisation Plan (NFP).

TM initiated to terminate the MoU.

3.) 2019

a) NFCP Plan is implement .

Opcom 4 FY revenue and Profit /Loss:

FY 17 ( April 2016 to March 2017 ) :
Revenue = 93 million , Profit = 7.2 million

FY 18 : Revenue = 104 million , Profit = 6.7 million .

FY 19 : Revenue = 75 million , Profit = 0.5 million .

FY 20 (2Q) : Revenue = 23 million , Loss = - 1.5 million.

Notes:

After TM n TNB MoU is terminated on July2018 , Opcom FY 19 Revenue and Profit drop drastically.

FY 20 is getting worst with 2Q revenue = 23 million and a Loss of -1.5 million.

Co founder Chhoa Kwang Hua sold all his shares on May2018 , price up from 35 sen in April to 90 sen in May2018 .

Let’s see Q3 result by this week ......

Update : Q3 with lower revenue, Loss rm 599,000.

Dura- Mine will be benefit from NFCP also :

In this case Dura will be benefited as a TM registered 100 % local Bumiputra company under Vendor Developement Program.

Definitely local manufacturers will be benefited . As read Dura factory land is 8 acre , Opcom is 10 acre. I had a query why Opcom revenue and profit is reduced in FY19 under NFP , further to 2 Q FY20 is at loss under NFCP.

TM MD cum Grouo CEO is Tun M choose , now situations will be the worst ..the COO whom promoted to acting CEO then to CEO whom is approved by Finance Ministry but Tun M is not agree and Choose the present one . The said COO to CEO is forced to resigned , the subordinates will not follow the M.D. either .
