The only solution of this problem. It is very easy. Just reduce the SIN TAX on liquor and cigarettes. This way consumers, country and factories will benefit.
This way smuggling will stop or at least reduced.

BAT can drop from RM70 to RM10. Then can go up from RM10 to RM 20/25 in no time. So my opinion is just keep on buying. Sure will be highly rewarded. Good dividend payout(history)

No way BAT to go back to glory days at share price rm25 above

with illegal market share is so big

and the authorities is do nothing much to stop the illegal market , so illegal market will get big and more bigger market share

plus, government keep on impose high tax on BAT

and also demand is stagnant

from all sides, all is not look good for BAT

For the last years until 1st half of this year.......

This stock is part of Keyman188's darling counter......

But now Keyman188 didn't touch again, you now why...

1st - sunset business without further growing

2nd - illegal market still spiking above 60% market share until unable solve it

3rd - Nett debt keep on growing until now RM 518 million outstanding debt...


** Don't forget, if 1 day company wants to pare down outstanding debt by stopping dividend payout, sure trapping a lot of investors

Last Q3 Result announced on 31.10.19 and dividend at 0.29 sen.
Expect Q3 ‘20 to be better than Q2 ‘20 result if so dividend can be better than 0.18 sen declared in Q2 ‘20.
