at 141.00 now full year dividend only 2.75,is just like u buy a 1.41 stock that declare a 2.75cts dividend.nestle should at least give at least 5.00-6.00 dividend to prove that it's worth is 141.00

I think bursa would be asking Nestle what's happening to its price. possibly a big player was gaming the trend, and making money off small players. in times of market uncertainties, they will buy the stocks and the price will increase, the small players sees it and buys also, which increase the price further. And then, at a certain level, the big player will cash out at the peak, making the profit. They played on the speculative craze of small investors.

Nestle is a stable n large consumer product company but over optimistic toward it n think PE of above 48-50 is normal is irrational; when the counter going up, many believe they r good at picking stock n even compare Nestle n F&N with Tencent, Alibaba , Google n Amazon..... With PE above 35 or 40, most consumer product companies r too expensive n too rich valuation even fund managers buying it, don't think is wise investment...

When PE ratio is 50 times, that is stupid. STUPID. That means if the company make the same amount every year, you will need 50 years to make back your investment. 2% yield.

Same investment theory apply to those slow growth 3 telco counters n IHH, they used to have high valuation n PE but after 2-3 years of slow growth, IHH , Maxis n Digi n Axiata , most of them r too expensive.... Over optimistic n being push up by some fund managers or big speculators make many retail investors over optimistic to many blue chips in Malaysia..:
