RainT 7691 posts | Posted by RainT > Feb 6, 2020 2:51 PM | Report Abuse between FD & REIT the answer is very simple & obvious of course is REIT buy in slowly in batches after few months once REIT dividend all around 5% keep in FD where got 5% interest now?? but buy in batches & at different time to control your average price |
RainT 7691 posts | Posted by RainT > Feb 6, 2020 2:52 PM | Report Abuse because if u bought at peak price then also very hard your dividend yield will drop if your costs price is at peak |
Thinkcarefully 63 posts | Posted by Thinkcarefully > Feb 7, 2020 10:19 AM | Report Abuse I would not buy into retail reits or office reits. More and more people are shopping online or work from home But hospital reit like alaqar will be ok.Doctors need to see patients in clinics. And they need operation rooms to do surgeries |
kinuxian 650 posts | Posted by kinuxian > Feb 7, 2020 11:27 AM | Report Abuse Agreed with Thinkc. With recent outbreak, retail business will be affected. If the the outbreak prolonged and magnitude is larger than retailer can absorb, they had sized down and weaker one had to quit their biz. For stronger reit counter like Sunreit / IGBreit, if not mistaken, they do have some sort of profit sharing model. Affected sales will have short / mid term profit impact too. Correct me if i'm wrong. |
CatchThe Bull 691 posts | Posted by CatchThe Bull > Feb 10, 2020 1:59 PM | Report Abuse The only 1 critical factor we shall look into it seriously for AL-AQAR HEALTHCARE REIT is KPJ business growth. As long as KPJ operation profitable and expansion growth positive, this is very low risk and guarantee rental income. |

reitpulse 14 posts | Posted by reitpulse > Apr 6, 2020 3:04 PM | Report Abuse Among other REITs in Malaysia, Al-Aqar REIT would be more resilience in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak. There is definitely a demand for healthcare. A few key areas that would be of concern would be the impact of the Australian government’s announcement on the overall aged care industry practice which may impact the Australian properties which happen to be the highest revenue contributor. http://reitpulse.com/al-aqar-reit-2019/ |

RainT 7691 posts | Posted by RainT > Jun 20, 2020 12:19 PM | Report Abuse in current situation of Covid 19, ALAQAR is among the best to invest in REIT because retail and office REIT is affected by Covid 19 |
RainT 7691 posts | Posted by RainT > Jun 20, 2020 12:21 PM | Report Abuse invest in REIT is not for took profit, or capital appreciation if want took profit, go to equities , not REIT REIT is for the dividend as above 90% of income must be distribute as dividend share price appreciation is a bonus plus with the dividend if u see the share price chart , the share price of REIT mostly ding dong at same range even after 5 years |
