christ1234 79 posts | Posted by christ1234 > Jan 20, 2015 2:15 PM | Report Abuse impartiality, thoughtful opinion again. I can't find words which is more appropriate than gangster heaven to describe Penang Times Sq. Just the name is flamboyant. In fact, look at the mall design, its impractical for business. Nobody will go there even the poor one. |
christ1234 79 posts | Posted by christ1234 > Jan 20, 2015 2:15 PM | Report Abuse ricH, so many companies around, give up this lousy gangster company, you wont regret. No point discussing about toilet. |

Idiot 126 posts | Posted by Idiot > Jan 20, 2015 4:04 PM | Report Abuse But could someone pls give some view on Hunza pls ? I think they also have land in Bayan Baru ? Thx |
rlch 4085 posts | Posted by rlch > Jan 20, 2015 5:55 PM | Report Abuse Idiot; Hunza: Khor Teng Tong is buying but I see their Gurney Paragon not as successful as Gurney Plaza although better than Times Square. Ivory Penang World City project likely more successful than Hunza Bayan Baru project due to better location(near Queensbay Mall, bridge and factories). I can buy 4 Ivory for 1 Hunza. Your money your choice. |
Icon8888 19022 posts | Posted by Icon8888 > Jan 20, 2015 5:59 PM | Report Abuse absolutely agree !!! I been to Gurney Paragon recently. The whole place is quiet. It is DEFINITELY not doing well |
impartiality 427 posts | Posted by impartiality > Jan 21, 2015 10:16 AM | Report Abuse It is still much better than penang Times Square it is an air conditioned pasar Malam where u can play futsal inside the atrium all day long without disrupting anyone there are Prob more shopkeepers than shoppers inside the mall |

WDragon 135 posts | Posted by WDragon > Feb 4, 2015 7:53 PM | Report Abuse Any news on Ivory? Looks like its share price not moving so long. |
WDragon 135 posts | Posted by WDragon > Feb 4, 2015 8:57 PM | Report Abuse Hopefully this month report high profit. |
WDragon 135 posts | Posted by WDragon > Feb 4, 2015 9:17 PM | Report Abuse Then fly up back to 0.60. Then all ivory holders laugh. |
yeddie 13 posts | Posted by yeddie > Feb 5, 2015 1:20 PM | Report Abuse If you are the boss, you sold some land, your cash flow is better than before, but u dun want to give money from my pocket, what will you do to remunarate your loyalty supporter & your staff ? |
rlch 4085 posts | Posted by rlch > Feb 5, 2015 1:38 PM | Report Abuse I think Penang Times Square reputation is bad. If Ivory manage to sell it and further improve cash flow rerating of Ivory is likely. Two disposals last month which will reduce borrowings by RM 205 million does not seem to do wonder to share price. |
WDragon 135 posts | Posted by WDragon > Feb 5, 2015 1:50 PM | Report Abuse Ivory makes its cash flow stronger to expand its business. So, I think we should buy some to keep before going up higher. |

kcgoh1234 201 posts | Posted by kcgoh1234 > Feb 9, 2015 4:49 PM | Report Abuse aspen group as mentioned above are in fact owned by CEO Low, his former star staff and his cronies. |
kcgoh1234 201 posts | Posted by kcgoh1234 > Feb 9, 2015 4:49 PM | Report Abuse Low is in fact a thief, good project (Ikea Batu Kawan) all under his private company, and loan all under public com[any ( Ivory). Can you trust your capital in the hand of a thief? |
rlch 4085 posts | Posted by rlch > Feb 9, 2015 5:34 PM | Report Abuse I don't think so(Low). He is a smart businessman. All the land he bought before he manage to sell at higher price. |
penangboleh 5 posts | Posted by penangboleh > Feb 9, 2015 7:40 PM | Report Abuse no doubt he's smart... low make 65% premium on his 49% stake in AVLSB sale to Aspen within 4 to 5 months of investment. but the questions is his integrity and performance for the company to protect all stakeholders interest as the CEO. the problem is he cant manage the company anymore, no key personnel to run the business, engaged all jokers include himself. you asked around any bankers in town about their performance and track records after the previous COO and other key staff left the company. low is only keen in SOJU>>>> |
rlch 4085 posts | Posted by rlch > Feb 9, 2015 8:46 PM | Report Abuse Perhaps should ask him to sell everything Ivory still own(Penang World City land, Times Square) and all the cash proceed declared as dividend to shareholders if he is not keen to run business any more. |
kcgoh1234 201 posts | Posted by kcgoh1234 > Feb 10, 2015 2:19 AM | Report Abuse Don't be so naive my friend, for a co where mkt cap less than loan amt. They cant pay back to the bank in full, after they sell everything. Penang Times Sq shoplots and condo have been sold out to individual owners. Ivory isnt the owner. |
kcgoh1234 201 posts | Posted by kcgoh1234 > Feb 10, 2015 2:20 AM | Report Abuse and AVLSB sale is a suspicious sale. Aspen and Ivory, not a simple disposal. Sell the shares before it hits rock bottom. My humble advice. |

impartiality 427 posts | Posted by impartiality > Feb 25, 2015 12:02 PM | Report Abuse Absolutely pathetic results. They would have made a loss if they did not recognize a profit in a JV company which does not translate into cash as no dividends were received by Ivory from the JV. Hock dog is barking down the wrong tree by venturing into Johor. How do you compete against mega chinese developors five times bigger than SP setia when you have failed so miserably in Penang. |
