Yeah Gamuda is probably history. It's only a matter of when MACC's dragnet will haul it up for possible links to MO1. Keep away from any company linked to MO1 and UMNO until the dust settles (if it settles).

Just see what happened to Datasonic. Will Fart2 want to venture into Datasonic now that it is limit-down?

As for KPS, the guillotine will come down once the RM250 million loss on sale of asset is recognised in whatever quarter it is recognised. New pipe-line contracts need to be in the order of at least RM1B to restore confidence!

But Fart1 is right. KPS as a GLC is on safer grounds, unlike companies like Salcon to which MACC can come round anytime.

KPS is grossly undervalued, considering NTA of RM2.59 and a big pile of cash in company. <--- Wat's wrong with this statement?

1.NTA= Net Tangile assets
2.Net assets= NA per ordinary share attributableto owners of the parent (RM) 2.59

NTA and NA have a big difference....... This person has made a false statement. Kps has a NA of 2.59 but NTA is only 2.20.......

Kps has profit of 58 million in 2017 and Splash contribute RM84 million <--- Sound funny? Yes. Kps lost 26 million in other business and splash profit helps it to cover up. Without Splash.... Kps is a dead fish. Azimin is a very smart guy. The only way to help KPS is to drag the water deal as long as he can. So kps can experience profit every year. If the deal is concluded above the book value or equal to the book value, everyone will accuse Azimin as a crony. Below the book value, kps will suffer big loss like now. So dragging the deal is the best solution to help kps to enjoy profit every year.

If u check the cashflow statement, u will realize tat splash didnt pay any cent to kps in these two years. Only the profit figures stated in P&L statement but no cash in.........Can see but cant take.

I read the performance review in the financial information on kps website. Splash only contribute 40million last quarter. Manufacturing segment contribute much higher. Kps will not be a dead fish without splash.

Thor85: Yes, u r right. Splash contributed 40 million last quarter and the total of profit for last quarter is 38 million. Means 2 million loss in other business. Without Splash, the company is making loss of 2 million in last quarter

kps start to generate 7.2m operating profit this quarter. don't look past year financial statement coz cpi,kingkoil manufacturing and kps-hcm only start to contribute this quarter. then interest expense(this quarter 9m)can be saved when cash received from splash sale.we must look beyond if we want to win big in bursa don't look backward.

i think the recent sell down is due to the impairment loss will be incur as a result of selling splash.although splash is a golden egg but this is only accounting profit(associate)and didn't contribute significent cash flow to kps.what i prefer(same like recent strategy of the management) is buying a full control of a company(at least subsidiary) or using money from splash to participate in selangor or even federal gov tender in the future!!!! kps is not a corrupted glc com(coz they start from opposition party)if their management is not good then us distributor(kingkoil manufactuirng) and china honda packaging com(cendbond)mira gas(oman partner) will not partner with kps . with the recent expansion plan especially in cendbond,cpi and kingkoil manufacturing i have a high hope with kps will become the glc star performer com in the future. let's wait and see.glc com usually like to get contract(monopoly one no competiter)but i like kps doing open competition business, fight with the world not become jaguh kampung (protected by somebody)then malaysia will only recognize by the world.
