We wish to announce that PNSB Acmar Sdn Bhd (“Plaintiff”) has on 14 November 2019 served a Writ of Summon and a Statement of Claim both dated 8 November 2019 on Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (“Prasarana”) (1st Defendant) and Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd (“SCSB”) (2nd Defendant), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SunCon.

The Plaintiff is claiming that all the construction works in relation to the project known as “Construction and Completion of Light Rail Transit Line 3 (LRT3) from Bandar Utama to Johan Setia” (“Project”) and the structures such as the Project’s poles, bars, and LRT stations had trespassed and/or encroached into the Plaintiff’s own development project area and has resulted in losses and damages towards the Plaintiff.

Prasarana is the owner of the Project and SCSB is the awarded Works Package Contractor for the contract known as “Contract No. Prasarana/GSC/CTT/2.06080/2017: Construction and Completion of Guideway, Stations Iconic Bridge, Park and Rides, Ancillary Buildings and other Associated Works for Package GS07-08 for Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) from Bandar Utama to Johan Setia” in relation to the Project.

The Plaintiff is claiming, amongst other, for the following:-

Special damages of RM711,367,434.46 and/or to be determined by the Senior Assistant Registrar or Deputy Registrar of the High Court of Malaya;
The costs between the solicitor and client amounts to RM400,000.00 or cost to be determined by the Honourable Court;
Interest rate of 5% per year from the date of trespass i.e. 30 April 2018 until the date of filing of the writ and from the date of the Honourable Court’s order until the full settlement; and
Court’s declarations, injunctions, orders and other reliefs that the Honourable Court deems fit and proper.
SunCon is currently seeking the professional advice of its solicitors on the matter and will make further announcement on the developments in due course.

Covid-19 make economy slown down fundamental company will metamorphism and company with high debt will the time to collapse.Expect local and foreign funds money would not flow in big cap and mid cap stock because everybody scare buy high losses money . In this few month expect Funds manager money would flow out in bigcap and midcap stocks and will short selling midcap stocks for make money so now no prospects cannot buy and hold.
market stock RM5.00 drop to RM 2.00 ,followed RM2.00 drop RM1.00,followed RM1.00 drop to 50 cent,followed 50 cent drop to 20cent ,followed 20 cent drop to 10cent ,followed 10cent drop to bottom.
High debt company cannot hold ,high prices stock cannot hold , market never sleep money never sleep just buy bottom low prices with cash rich company . This is a opportunity markets smarts money no longer will flows in cheaper stocks sharks will goreng lows price stock at bottom..

The Association of Stockbroking Companies of Malaysia (ASCM) had on Thursday called for the suspension ely in line with the recent Movement Control Order declared by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

Those who want sell fast sell. If suspended all the money will be locked in the bursa until further notice. Maybe months maybe years... Nobody knows

Fresh news just in. MRCBGK renegotiated with Sunway Construction LRT3 GS07 & GS08 in a whopping cost reduction from 2.3b to 1.2b. Hats of to MRCBGK's team for pulling this off. Credit also to Suncon for cooperating with the renegotiation process. May these 2 counters prosper.
