RainT If you study the financial statement ......it loss is because of forex as it have operation in overseas

Also loss due to revaluation of properties but sometimes will gain


This is non really operating and will not affect dividend

Why other Reits never loss making but why ytlreit is loss making , wonder why ????

Go read financial statements, is due to their forex loss ......

Other Reits don't have overseas properties except Al aqar

karhongkhit dividend still intact at almost 7%, i see no reason to sell. Just top up more at 1.11. If go down more will buy more. Goyang kaki 7% dividend yearly. why sell?

karhongkhit in my opinion, reit shouldnt be set TP. nomatter how high the price go, if the dividend payout more thn 5.5% annually or keep growing, keep it. if lower thn 5.5% sell it. That time shud be able to gain around 30% from the increase of share price already.

karhongkhit @thisisjay depends on your own decision. My style is i rather buy ytlreit at lower bottom price thn buy sunreit that for me I feel already expensive. but there are other ppl that dont like ytlreit also.

Siew Jian Bin REIT is not about invest short term or long term. What is more important is its assets and management. If the assets are good, the rental will go up soon or later. Take IGBREIT for example, the rental is increase over the time. But not every REIT perform in that direction, some of the REITS are exactly opposite because their assets no longer attractive. CMMT is one of the example. Luckily CMMT still has Gurney Plaza to support. Else, its SUNGAI WANG or TROPICANA will be putting CMMT in difficult situation. YTLREIT is a stable REIT that offer reasonable yield but I don't expect the price will go up fast. But for dividend play, it is a very safe bet over the time. If you are interested in Singapore REIT, you can have a look in SABANA REIT, if you hold long term, all your hard earn money gone because of the poor management!

DroidnPlay SGReit is indeed much much better option than MReit. anyhow buy oso got avg 6% DY,more stable. YTLReit also same, one year ago bought at 1.1 bad entry point, subsequent 1.2 n 1.16 oso bad entry, but stretch over longer time, Div can cover the lost alr. To think deeper, hey bad market sentiment but it only fall a little to 1.08 at worst, so quite stable.

LOLANTO DPU of financial year 2018 is 7.87 sen, financial year 2017 and 2016 were 8.09 and 7.9 respectively. therefore the DPU is actually downtrend!
