If i bought 10 Lot (10k Share, worth RM13,600.00) now. How much payout can i receive ?10,000 share x 0.0195 = RM195.00

100k share = RM1950

the payout is so little...it is no worth....

lambsauce @ggbingo bro, dividend yield is calculated based on yearly basis, u have to look at 4 times of dividends to receive in a year, which is higher than fd rate of 4%

MK4872 they pay dividend 4 times a year....assuming each time 1.95 sen....if holding 100,000 unit....you will get RM1,950 each time....x 4 time = RM7,800 per year. Investment (capital) is RM136,000 (each share price at RM1.36)....7,800 / 136,000 = 6% return per year. FD rate in M'sia is less than 4%.

Shares price will also enjoy capital gain....pls check their price movement over the past 3 years.

With 6% returns per year and potential capital gain....what else do you want?

As investor, we should be looking at long term potential capital gain and steady flow of dividend....should be higher than FD rate....the share should have minimal risk with solid assets to back it and track record.

Fast money is for gambler or contra player....drive up to Genting....you MAY double your money in 10 minute.

kinuxian YTLReit is renting their properties as master lease to hotel operator. I wander why theedge article mark it had direct impacts from ncorvirus outbreak. Compared to retail reit, with raising alarm /risk for potential outbreak in country, isn't it the sunreit, cmmt, kipreit, etc pose much higher risk?

To me, reit that targeting small retailer segments are subjected to higher risk during prolong outbreak. While hotel operator / bigger retail will be much resilient.

kinuxian Probably, however, isn't it there are certain revision ratio agreed upon signed up master lease? Without details, dunno when lease renewal is scheduled. Thus, isn't it risk is higher for retail REIT compared to hospitality REIT. As u says, less ppl travel, smaller retailer had higher impact.

Just food of thought, if outbreak prolong 3 to 6 months, how many retailers can sustain, compared to Marriott.
