Business Background

KSL Holdings Bhd is a holding company. It is engaged in real estate services. The company has four reportable segments Property development; Property investment; Investment holding and Car park operation. Property development includes the development of residential and commercial properties; Property investment includes an investment of real properties and hotel; Investment holding includes the provision of management services to the subsidiaries, and Car park operation includes car park management services. KSL derives most of its revenue from Property development.

bss2018 KSL current price is really way below its actual net worth. The only reason ppl dont invest in this because current market properties sector is in bad situation. But if u dig deeper in internet, properties sector is starting to grow back slowly. Yes its very bottom now, and that is the reason should consider this.

upsidedown119 We can cope with market forces and fundamentals. But sheer lies and dishonesty by the majority shareholders with the Securities Commission closing their eyes? That's uncharted territory in Malaysia. In other jurisdiction they would be jailed or heavily fined besides having to compensate investors.

novice77 xiaohai, you've invested here for 4 years? Same as me. I read about the company policy and it promised to give 40% net profit to investors. I jumped in and put in lots of money. I received dividend once when I first invested and that was the last time. After 4 years, I realized that I was cheated. I left this counter and lost almost everything. I start working and saving again. I have no respect for Mr. Khoo. He is a devil. If one day, I happen to meet him, I don't know what I will do....

upsidedown119 Likely many retirees put their savings into this stock when management promised consistent dividends of 40% of operation profits and lost. Likely at least one have to go public for help for funeral funds when his wife passed away.

KSL management thinks they can do such cheating with impunity. That's why they did it.

How much money left for dividend, think twice before you invest in this counter. These four brother and their sons and daughter is very smart in cheating the investor money.

I think one of the important question miss out is asking the Board why spend the cash on below land purchase in 2018 when part of this cash can be used to pay dividend.

Mukim of Pulai vacant free hold Land held for Development 8,208,099 sq ft: Net book value RM 180,674,963. RM 22.0 per sq ft. Date of acquisition: 20.03.2018
Mukim of Tebrau vacant lease hold Land held for Development 5,137,998 sq ft: Net book value RM 134,021,551. RM 26.1 per sq ft. Date of acquisition: 12.03.2018
