Business Background

KSL Holdings Bhd is a holding company. It is engaged in real estate services. The company has four reportable segments Property development; Property investment; Investment holding and Car park operation. Property development includes the development of residential and commercial properties; Property investment includes an investment of real properties and hotel; Investment holding includes the provision of management services to the subsidiaries, and Car park operation includes car park management services. KSL derives most of its revenue from Property development.

Many Thanks also to all the AGM attendees for posting many follow up interesting questions.

I think one of the important question miss out is asking the Board why spend the cash on below land purchase in 2018 when part of this cash can be used to pay dividend.

Mukim of Pulai vacant free hold Land held for Development 8,208,099 sq ft: Net book value RM 180,674,963. RM 22.0 per sq ft. Date of acquisition: 20.03.2018
Mukim of Tebrau vacant lease hold Land held for Development 5,137,998 sq ft: Net book value RM 134,021,551. RM 26.1 per sq ft. Date of acquisition: 12.03.2018

novice77 Running a public company is important to give what belongs to the public. I lost about 12K in this counter. I was cheated into it reading their promise to give back to the public 40%. The last time they paid was in 2015. The Khoos are so greedy and thick faced that they reap from everyone and still manage to sleep well at night. My advice is, don't associate yourself with cheap people like this. Don't take what you earn from this counter. It may haunt you. Let them die at their due cause.

Ser Leng Quek Got possibility to be privatised by the Ku clan at a price lower than its net asset value just like other property counters being privatised before. So either race them to sapu the shares or keep on holding until privatise offer.

RVI123 Even if KSL declares 3 sens dividend, the total amount to be paid out is only RM31.1mil, which is about the same with the total remunerations paid to the directors.

Invest_888 Gtrade wah 3 bro of KSL family members paid 10m salary !!! SC/bursa should review this type of daylight robbery. Even PM of MsiaTun Mahathir, earn only 22k per month, and Tun overseas the whole country, 100 times more work than the KSL directors, How can the country allow this type of ripoff?

Invest_888 3 KSL executive directors REMUNERATION PACKAGES are RM29,999,000.00. Means 1 executive director remuneration package is very close to RM10,000,000 one year. More than 4 years small shareholders get zero/kosong/0 dividend. Hi, 3 KSL executive directors, small shareholders also want cari makan, very hungary, starving!!!

RVI123 You want to know why they prefer to pay Directors Remuneration Packages instead of dividends?

If KSL pays RM30mil Directors Remuneration Packages, the directors sapu all the RM30mil.

If KSL pays RM30mil Dividends, the directors get only RM12mil. The other shareholders get RM18mil.

That is why the directors choose to pay out Directors Remuneration Packages instead of Dividends. Very selfish of them to sapu everything for themselves and leave nothing for the minority shareholders..

upsidedown119 KSL's directors' shenanigans at the expense of the minorities won't benefit them. In the end they will cough up every sen (and more) that they have caused the minority shareholders to lose by misleading data and in not keeping their promises.

GreatDreamer Klang Mall, which heavily drain on KSL cashflow, Expected to be ready by end 2020. After that, if no big land acquisition, KSL may be paying div in 2021. So, it is not a time to rush in to buy now....
