terence775 Better is subjective. But in terms of value, KIPREIT is definitely a better value than AXREIT which is overpriced. But I would argue the asset quality of AXREIT is better.

terence775 Very good results from KipREIT considering this QR was supposed to be the "worst" due to MCO. Congratulations to all holders.

For those wondering why the results are "red", you may read their announcement for more details. but to summarise, it's due to unrealised losses of 13mil due to land valuation. Otherwise it would have been only -9% QoQ, which in my opinion is quite amazing considering the nature of their property and the times we are in.

They performed much better than many others.

are very impressive considering the situation. I have always had confidence in this company and believe it to be undervalued.One question I have about the dividend, could you kindly advise ? 0.3080 is taxable,1.2000 is non taxable and 0.0220 is tax exempt. Is the 1.2000
free of 10% dividend tax ? if it is, there has been a substantial increase in the dividend.

terence775 Cawalluk, yes, good notice. That is true. So the dividend per share you shall receive is (0.308*0.9) +1.2+0.022=1.4992 sen.
This is higher than previous one which is (1.386*0.9)+0.1+0.034= 1.381sen.

Bryan Lee @youngshouse24 thanks for sharing the article! From reading this article, makes me feel happy as an investor, putting money into the right stock! Bright future ahead! This article very useful for us who don't live in KL area... I'm from Ipoh so I can tell you that Aeon Kinta City is one of the best malls in Ipoh, if not the best, catering to lots of Tamans surrounding it, i.e. Bercham, Ipoh Garden, Canning Garden etc. Heck, I live in Pengkalan but occasionally I still go there! Great acquisition by KIPREIT!

reitpulse Performance-wise, FY20 has been stable with a positive contribution from the newly acquired AEON Mall. However, the 6 existing properties have been rather uncertain with a mix in performance. Investors who are keen should definitely keep a lookout on the 6 older existing properties.

youngshouse24 AMKC revenue is for first year (actually is only 11 months according to AGM info). In my opinion, comparison between AMKC and six KIP Mall is not needed. Furthermore, AMKC is also affected by COVID. The occupancy is not 100% in Sept. after I made site visit. Anyway, this stock is worth to invest.

kinuxian Many retail REIT was down by 10 %. Covid19 cases occurs in many KV malls and patron reduced drastically. I noticed increasing ppl take risk off position too Kipreit but in much slower pace. Another round of rental subsidize seems to be unavoidable for malls if prolonged for a month.

youngshouse24 CMCO / COVID causes less customers. Tenants may choose / forced to end up their business and this will affect the KIPREIT occupancy and revenue. Besides, revenue may affected if company gives rental subsidize. Same for IGBREIT, PAVREIT and other retail reits.
