chinaman On 09 April 2019, the Court further fixed Hearing on 08 July 2019 pending settlement between MPCorp and RHB.
On 05 July 2019, MPCorp has received a sealed copy of Notice of Discontinuance in relation to the auction filed by RHB. RHB has withdrawn the matter against MPCorp with no order as to costs.
So, since rhb debts can be settled now, when will stupid Bursa allow MPCorpse trading again? wakaka

New launches in 2Q2019

There were only two new launches in 2Q2019. “The first launch is a landed scheme known as Mahligai at Taman Nusa Damai and the other is a serviced apartment known as The Spacy Residency at Taman Century,” says Tan.

“For Mahligai, which comprises 163 double-storey terraced houses, about 50% of the non-bumiputera units have been sold. Prices start at RM560,000 for a land area of 1,400 sq ft and built-up area of 1,729 sq ft,” he says.

“There are 995 serviced apartments in The Spacy Residency. The units range from 645 to 907 sq ft with a gross selling price of RM950 psf. We were informed that about 20% have been booked,” says Tan.

lachai2004 MPCorp and its subsidiaries Oriental Pearl City Properties Sdn Bhd, Lakehill Resort Development Sdn Bhd and Taman Bandar Baru Masai Sdn Bhd had on 23 August 2019 entered into a settlement agreement with Amanahraya Development Sdn Bhd (“Amanahraya”) which involves the effective disposal of land measuring a total of approximately 131.95 acres in the Mukim of Plentong, District of Johor Bahru, State of Johore as settlement of debt owing to Amanahraya amounting to RM115,000,000

lachai2004 (吉隆坡23日讯)马帕斯(MPCORP,6548,主板产业组)将以地抵债,透过向公共信托有限公司(Amanah Raya Berhad)旗下Amanahraya发展私人有限公司脱售避兰东131.95英亩土地来抵销拖欠的1亿1500万令吉债务。

该公司发文告表示,随著上述债务清偿,集团负债比将从1.1倍减至0.01倍。

马帕斯在2008年与公共信托联营天宝湖畔度假城发展计划,但后者在2012年3月宣布退出,并入禀法院向公司追讨1亿1317万零308令吉款项与利息,随后双方在2014年达成1亿2000万令吉的和解,可是马帕斯在偿还500万令吉后就不再付款,而此次以地抵债活动将彻底解决双方的债务问题。

(吉隆坡24日讯)PN17公司马帕斯集团(MPCORP,6548,主板产业股)及子公司,与Amanahraya发展私人有限公司签署合约,以地抵消1亿1500万令吉欠款,结束双方多年纠纷。

该集团昨天向交易所报备,子公司Oriental Pearl城市产业、Lakehill度假村发展和Taman Bandar Baru Masai,将柔佛新山面积131.95英亩的闲置地皮,脱售给Amanahraya。



该地皮是在2008年以2123万令吉代价买进,截至去年6月杪,净账面价值达7427万令吉。

文告解释,该合约能解决双方的纠纷,并让该集团专注业务。

子公司在2008年8月与Amanahraya签署联营合约,发展位于新山的LakeHill度假城市项目;随后同意用9900万令吉购买Amanahraya在项目中的股权,并给予后者2012年3月到期的脱售期权。

当Amanahraya在2012年行使期权时,该集团没有如期支付款项,因此前者在9月杪发出追讨信,要求该集团连本带利偿还1亿1317万308令吉欠款,接踵而来的是一连串法律纠纷。

Mp Corp after settling all Rhb Bank debt is now telling Amanah to honour its original agreement to buy over Lakehill lands

This is to Amanah's favour as land prices already gone up alot since then

If Amanah refused to take up then there are other ready buyers waiting

So Mp Corp now is in a very favourable position

Amanah buy also can or don't buy also not a problem

Mp Corp sold a piece of land to Magligai
Magligai has built 2 storey houses priced around Rm500k and selling very well

Mp Corp also going into jv with Bina Puri to build 2 storey houses priced below Rm500k
These come with clubhouse and swimming pool
Should also be selling well

lachai2004 Historical this counter has not many followers and it's a bit quiet, as the debt problem with RHB and Amanah Raya had already settled,currently with almost zero debt, I am sure it's value will soon reflect in the share price.
