The duration of the contract will be as follows: a) Purchase of Fire Fighting Vehicles – The purchase of the fire fighting vehicles shall be valid for a period of three (3) years from the EFFECTIVE DATE (29 September 2016). The planned delivery dates are based on a phasing basis as per the agreed schedule. b) Maintenance Services – The maintenance services shall be for a period of 5 years (upon the expiry of the two (2) years warranty period of the fire fighting vehicles). The contract is expected to contribute positively to the Group’s earnings and net assets for current financial year ending 31 December 2016 and following years. CME do not foresee any exceptional risk other than operational risk associated with the contract. None of the directors and/or major shareholders of CME Group Berhad and/or persons connected to them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the above contract.
