i3lurker I find it very funny that credit card holders already jobless
no money pay credit card

then Bank Negara force those credit card holders to pay more to bank
or go bankrupt

ha ha ha !!!
25/03/2020 12:25 PM
i3lurker since you say you cannot pay RM100.00

Bank Negara now says you must pay RM150.00. Ha ha ha !!!!

Longterminvestorr Credit card only pay 5% outstanding balance, housing loan and car loan no need pay 6 month.. Customer now way more happy.. Where got alot ppl bankrupt oh abang... Ppl now got more money to spur in the economy cause two main commitment defer 6 month no need pay.. But interest still calculated.. Win win
25/03/2020 1:42 PM
Jeffreyteck Loans moratorium, hopefully borrowers were not misguided, interest will be accrued accordingly. So, if can afford, better settle loans promptly.

i3lurker my earlier estimate was extremely optimistic

I now believe 2 million people will go bankrupt...

Bank Negara's unhelpful conditions forcing people to pay more will definitely be the main cause
25/03/2020 5:08 PM
i3lurker with knock on link on link economic accelerators operating on full force.

the conservative estimate is now 2,000,000 people will go bankrupt.
Could be much more than 2 million going bankrupt....
25/03/2020 5:11 PM
i3lurker for those who did not study maths and science in English let me give you this example

for RM10,000 credit cards
person only pays RM175.00 per month based on 1.5% interest per month

now Bank Negera is forcing people to pay easily above RM300.00 per month
where is the person going to find the extra RM125.00 and above???

of course the guy just declares bankruptcy loh.

Bank Negara staff now laughing, so happy to cause 2,000,000 bankruptcies in Malaysia
25/03/2020 5:51 PM
freddiehero wah... mayb dia org mata duit..
25/03/2020 6:05 PM
i3lurker no kesian lah

Bank Negara staff all laughing now

example Grab drivers all swiped card to pay downpayment on car plus plus

so Grab drivers easily got RM20,000 on card balances
normally 20K only pay 325 per month

now New Bank Negara "force policy" Grab drivers must pay 750 to 800 per month

no Grab customers

sure die, even though HP on car RM500 no need to pay, now must pay credit card higher amount pula.

sure die

after Grab car driver die Bank Negara staff laugh
25/03/2020 6:59 PM
i3lurker small business people like Grab car drivers obtain financing via credit card and HP
credit card balances must be given similar 6 months deferment on payment.

Bank Negara forcing Grab drivers to pay more instead of paying less is a sure way to tell them to go hang themselves.

JayC88 luckily sell before the MCO announcement just now... waiting for right time again
25/03/2020 9:37 PM
Longterminvestorr I3lurker can send link where BNM force ppl to paid more credit card? 5% of outstanding all these while. What i see opportunities, BNM announce 6 month deferment on two biggest commitment housing loan and car loan.

Govt purpose on doing so
1) citizen are more ease
2) govt reputation increase as helping rakyat
3) citizen got more money to spur into economy after one month recovery, and to balance back GDP

Disadvantages: Bank also will be hit as defer 6 month, but only a little but i will keep it around 8 years for next crisis

But do u guys remember 2008 global financial crisis? BNM cut OPR 1.75% (from 2008 to 2009) yet PBB share drop from rm10.50 to rm7 but u see back annual report at that time there are still growth.

Like Warren buffet say value investing and long term.

trader9918 At this level..oversold and still got more room for public bank to go up.
26/03/2020 12:19 AM
i3lurker its just maths and science in English

those who are good in maths can calculate out the actual effect on Grab car drivers who will be "forced" by Bank Negara to pay more

pay more rather than pay less, its quite funny.

why Bank Negara want to make Grab car drivers bankrupt? You must go and ask them.
26/03/2020 5:32 AM
i3lurker another extremely weird thing is that banks currently charge 10% interest and 42 months repayment on failed Grab car drivers.

it boggles the mind that Bank Negara,
rather than helping Grab car drivers wants to force Grab car drivers to pay more instead.

Banks 10% 42 months

Bank Negara 13% 36 months (36 months is forced by Bank Negara)

walau eh,
the extra 6 months time compression and higher interest rates are designed to "force" people to go bankrupt faster....
26/03/2020 5:57 AM
i3lurker maths and science in English, quick napkin calculation

Grab car driver RM20,000.00 credit card

Scheme A 1.5% per month
he pays RM350.00

Scheme B Banks currently now charging
he pays RM642.86

Bank Negara's "Forced Bankruptcy Scheme"
he pays RM772.22
26/03/2020 6:25 AM
i3lurker 2019 was a very bad year

so a few million Malaysian SME and sole proprietors had used credit cards for business financing

RM300,000 was an average balance for SME and Sole proprietors

Scheme A 1.5% per month
he pays RM5,250.00

Scheme B Banks currently now charging
he pays RM9,642.90

Bank Negara's "Forced Bankruptcy Scheme"
he pays RM11,583.30

the difference of RM2,000.00 is immediately noticeable and stands out under Bank Negara's new forced bankruptcy scheme
26/03/2020 6:39 AM
i3lurker this is a direct result of sending people to US and UK to study.

conventional Central Bank methods as taught by US and UK is that during times of financial crises, Central Bank's role is to make people bankrupt...

the idea is that by making 2,000,000 Malaysians bankrupt, economic renewal can be faster after crises is over.

These silly people gets brainwashed
and come back and implement forced bankruptcies at every opportunity they get.

funny thing is that, do you see US and UK making people bankrupt?
they just tell you to make people bankrupt.
but their own people is precious, too precious to make bankrupt.
instead they get USD3,000 per month or GBP2,500 per month

what do we have?

we get nothing
but instead get forced bankruptcy from Bank Negara

masterus Last year, the central bank reduced the base rate use for lending to 3% from 3.25% in May.

Imran Yassin expects BNM to slash another 25bps, bringing the OPR to 2.25% at the next MPC’s meeting.

“It is very unlikely that the OPR will go to zero because we opine that BNM will need to maintain some buffer to give them room to manoeuvre should the economic conditions worsen,” he said.

In a report, Hong Leong Investment Bank said BNM will likely reduce the policy rate by a total of 50bps this year to bring the rate down to 2% in 2020.
