kinuxian Bank always require primary and secondary site for disaster recovery plan (DRP) as required by BNM. How HSBC going to address it if move all their staffs to TRX? Hmmm.. VVIP treatment for foreign bank? Local bank probably can repurpose their DC at Bangi to improve cost efficiency. :)

Without HSR access their counterpart in SG, HSBC seem making a bad call to have their Trx building for time-being.

Same news was posted on Dec 2020, its recovery trend broken and plunge from 88cents to 84cents with 3.2mil vol. Breakout happened after good QR result posted and both HLIB & CGS-CIMB increase their buy call as well.

If drill further details, NLA for Quill 2 building about 184,453 sq ft. Assuming RM 4.5sq ft, it translated to about 10mil gross rental a year. At 160mil+ revenue, potential risk exposure about 10/16x which about 6% if such building remains unleased. To simplified, just take 6% off from their dividend payout, it reduced to 6.65 cents, which meant 7.38% dividend yield at 90 cents per shares.

CIMB research at Jan 21 indicate consensus ratings*: Buy 6 Hold 2 Sell 0. Just share the observation & views on potential risk exposure.

kinuxian Np. This is just a one of options as FD replacement. Dont expect good capital return as office glut is not diminishing.

EPF do paid much premium price here when they increase their stake above RM1 back in 2018-2019.

reitpulse Disposal of Quill Building 5 is a plus to Sentral REIT given that the property has been vacant since FY19. The proceed from the disposal would be better utilized to rejuvenate the assets of Sentral REIT.
