Daily charter rates are on the uptrend and business remains profitable. Excluding the impairments, Maybulk has recorded its first operating quarter profit after many loss making quarters on the back of better charter rates. Most of its fleet of 12 carriers are relatively you g and thus lvery low maintenance. It has pared down much of its bank borrowings. The quarters going forward should see continuos profitability.
